The CW-D de-awner is a low-power machine designed for efficiently removing awns, bristles, or unwanted fibers from grains. Its compact design allows for energy-efficient operation while maintaining high throughput.

The CW-D grain de-bearder offers the following features::

  • Inlet with an adjustable capacity slide gate

  • Cage of perforated steel plate

  • Main shaft with screwfeeder and beater device

  • Adjustable spring-loaded outlet flap, hand wheel-operated cleanout and bypass slide, as well as air nozzles

  • Sprout for dust aspiration

  • Mounted on a platform

  • V-belt drive and motor
