From Challenge to Efficiency

Transforming LSG’s Luxembourg Processing Line:

In 2019, we successfully completed a major project for LSG in Luxembourg, aimed at optimizing production capacity and significantly enhancing the efficiency of cleaning and sorting all types of grain and grain legumes, including peas and beans.

We delivered a complete line of machinery for the company’s newly-built factory to accommodate their growing production. The project involved a comprehensive upgrade and integration of advanced equipment, including belt conveyors, straw separators, elevators, air aspirators, de-awners, indented cylinders, gravity separators, and more. Together, these elements formed a streamlined and highly efficient processing line in the brand new facility.

Project management

The project was led by Westrup project manager Peter Jensen, whose structured approach, technical expertise, and close collaboration with the customer ensured a seamless process from initial planning through to final commissioning. Strong communication and a solution-oriented mindset were key factors in delivering the project on time and according to specifications.

Reflecting on the project, Peter Jensen stated:

the challenges

The project required close coordination with multiple collaborators to ensure the processing line met LSG’s expectations. Working alongside suppliers from different regions added both complexity and value, demonstrating how strong collaboration and mutual trust can lead to optimal solutions. The few challenges encountered along the way were swiftly addressed, ultimately improving the final outcome and providing valuable learnings for all parties involved.

The successful completion of this project highlights our ability to deliver tailored, high-quality solutions that create measurable value for our customers. It stands as a strong example of how technical expertise, effective project management, and close customer collaboration lead to outstanding results.
