We’re opening in Kazakhstan

Westrup Kazakhstan or ТОО «WESTRUP КАЗАХСТАН» as it soon will be known as, is our latest venture into the world

For more than 10 years, Westrup has had a strong presence in Kazakhstan – in fact, the machines we sold that many years ago are still up and running this very day.

For this reason, and to support our customers in the country, we are opening a representative office to provide quick and local service. The office, which is located in Kostanay, will be run by Director Kanat Sagumbaev, and a sales and service technician.

“Kanat has been a long-time partner of Westrup and has led the way for us in Kazakhstan for many years. We are very proud to continue this journey with him in the lead”, says Bo Borne Jørgensen, CEO of Westrup, and continues, “with almost a third of the country being arable land, it makes Kazakhstan a very interesting move for us. We are certain that this venture will ensure many exciting opportunities ahead, not only for us but especially for our customers who now have access to local resources”.

Also, Kanat Sagumbaev is excited for the new opportunities; “I have been working with Westrup for many years and know their product portfolio and product value very well. My goal is to increase our presence in Kazakhstan by continuing to create reliable and trouble-free solutions. I take the customer's requirements, local conditions and industry best practices into account and work with our customers to find the solution that best solves their processing needs”.

We are confident that this move will provide real value for our customers now that there is local support and resources and we are excited to get to work in close collaboration with the agroindustry in Kazakhstan, together with Kanat Sagumbaev.
