Westrup Celebrates Recognition for Outstanding Craftsmanship

Westrup is proud to announce that our talented blacksmith, Tobias Bantz, was honored on Tuesday, May 13, at a prestigious ceremony held at Copenhagen City Hall. The event, organized by Håndværkerforeningen København, celebrated the achievements of 88 outstanding newly graduated craftspeople across 22 different trades.

Tobias was recognized for his exceptional final project and received the highest distinction – a silver medal – personally presented by His Majesty the King of Denmark.

Westrup’s COO, Mads Wilsom, and Production Leader, Per Jensen, joined Tobias’s family in attending the ceremony, proudly representing the company that hosted Tobias throughout his apprenticeship.

We are incredibly proud of Tobias and honored to have supported him in his educational journey,” said COO Mads Wilsom. “His dedication and talent exemplify the spirit of craftsmanship that drives Westrup forward.

We are delighted that Tobias will continue his career at Westrup’s factory in Slagelse, where his skills and passion will contribute to our vision to equip our customers for change.
