Westrup at its core

In 1958 – more than 65 years ago, Westrup was founded by the brothers Knud and Troels Westrup. However, constructing seed processing equipment was not new to them. They already had years of prior experience and that experience laid the foundation for Westrup. The two brothers first started building Westrup machines in Troels’ garage and soon realized they had something promising in the making.

Knud und Troels verbrachten Stunden damit, Maschinen zu erfinden, zu entwickeln und zu bauen, und blieben lange auf, um die Termine einzuhalten. Sie fingen klein an, expandierten aber immer weiter und verlegten ihre Produktion bald nach Soroevej in Slagelse, Dänemark, wo sich Westrup noch heute befindet.
