ABOUT WESTRUP

Westrup at its core

In 1958 – more than 65 years ago, Westrup was founded by the brothers Knud and Troels Westrup. However, constructing seed processing equipment was not new to them. They already had years of prior experience and that experience laid the foundation for Westrup. The two brothers first started building Westrup machines in Troels’ garage and soon realized they had something promising in the making.

Knud and Troels spent hours inventing, developing and building machines, staying up late to meet deadlines. They started small but kept expanding, and soon, they moved their production to Sorøvej in Slagelse, Denmark, where Westrup is still located today.
